IT+Robotics is active in the video surveillance field, because the use of omnidirectional cameras and mobile robots creates new perspectives in the smart surveillance field. Even if these technologies have been deeply studied by researchers, and can nowadays be considered mature from the academic point of view, they are beginning to be put into commerce only in this period in Europe and Italy. IT+Robotics is a player in this field, and faces the market with several proposals.

IT+Robotics is a partner of the Integrated Security project for this field.

The Integrated Security project wants to offer to companies, public companies, and private citizens, a complete and easy-to-use solution, capable of meeting the customer's needs, solving his specific security issues. To meet this point, the proposed solutions will be scalable, open, and customized to the customer's requirements.

The Integrated Security project offers the possibility of processing data acquired by sensors, and compare the results to patterns that are commonly observed in the real world. Only uncommon situations will require the human supervisor analysis, in order to understand whether something dangerous is actually happening, or not.
